Hey fellow Geeks! The manga editions of the Legend of Zelda games are so entertaining. Story, art, and character development shine in these mangas!
Hey fellow Geeks! This series makes me so happy! It's probably one of my favorite middle-grade series since Percy Jackson. I don't really count the Harry Potter series as middle-grade. As the third installment, Sutherland has continued to bring us new information and depth into her world of Pyrrhia. Every time I open one of these book and see that dragon shaped island, I'm excited to see what new things we discover and this one doesn't disappoint.
When I was recommended this book, it was described as a sort of Beauty and the Beast retelling with more fantasy, and magic. I thought, "Oh, that sounds awesome," and they were completely correct in their description. I'm a HUGE fan of a fairy tale retelling, but this is its own unique story with elements of Beauty and the Beast. There is fantasy, magic, and an entire new world to get to know. These characters are really dynamic, even if they don't appear to be at first and that is something I absolutely love about this book.
Hey fellow Geeks! Sorry that I've been quite for a bit. College is a thing... But, I'm trying to get through this series and I wanted to share my review on the second installment of the Wings of Fire series.
I wanted to send out a general update. I've just started this blog/website and even though I don't have a lot of followers, I just want to let you all know a little bit more about this blog in general.
Hey fellow Geeks! I'd really give this 4.5/5 stars! This novel really surprised me in the best ways possible! The emotion and psychological aspects of this story really intrigued me. With the confusion, pain, and love that's swirling around in these kid's heads, it's powerful. Kristina McBride takes a theme we've heard about before but puts the focus on someone else and it's still just as influential.
The Marauders in the Harry Potter series is such a loved group/era for Potter fans. With this love comes a strong passion and dedication that has developed into some fan-films I'd like to share with you! "The Gathering Storm: A Marauders Fan Film" and "Mischief Managed".
The Dragonet Prophecy by Tui T. Sutherland My rating: 4 of 5 stars I really enjoyed this book! There were some corny moments between the dragons, like sitcom corny, but it was good. The world building in this first book was amazing!
This was my first ever comic con experience and I went with one of my best friends, Megan Loose (this was also her first time). It was a total blast!! We met so many nice people and I got to meet David Mazouz!
