Tale as Old as Time – Beauty and the Beast (2017) Part 2

"Tale as Old as Time..." This story is so magical to me, and the live-action adaptation of the 1991 animated Disney feature was absolutely breathtaking.

Life Keeps Going!

Here is just a short little update on this blog. Sorry for the silence, but I'm hoping to get back to this and see what happens!

New Era of Gaming – Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Hey fellow Geeks! Again, I'd like to apologize for the lack of posts, I still haven't created a strict schedule yet (if ever) and courses have been crazy for my final term.   I'm almost finished though... Anyway! Even with... Continue Reading →

Book Review: Legend of Zelda “Ocarina of Time” Legendary Edition Manga

Hey fellow Geeks! The manga editions of the Legend of Zelda games are so entertaining. Story, art, and character development shine in these mangas!

“Rebellions are built on Hope” – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away… Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was another spectacular installment to the Star Wars universe. This film does such an amazing job tying A New Hope up. Plus, Darth Vader man!!

Book Review: Wings of Fire – The Hidden Kingdom (Book 3)

Hey fellow Geeks! This series makes me so happy! It's probably one of my favorite middle-grade series since Percy Jackson. I don't really count the Harry Potter series as middle-grade. As the third installment, Sutherland has continued to bring us new information and depth into her world of Pyrrhia. Every time I open one of these book and see that dragon shaped island, I'm excited to see what new things we discover and this one doesn't disappoint.

Book Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses

When I was recommended this book, it was described as a sort of Beauty and the Beast retelling with more fantasy, and magic. I thought, "Oh, that sounds awesome," and they were completely correct in their description. I'm a HUGE fan of a fairy tale retelling, but this is its own unique story with elements of Beauty and the Beast. There is fantasy, magic, and an entire new world to get to know. These characters are really dynamic, even if they don't appear to be at first and that is something I absolutely love about this book.

Going back to the Wizarding World – Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (Film)

I thought I was prepared for this film... but I was most certainly wasn't! I'll have to see this movie again, and probably update this post, but this movie blew me away. I'm ready for more!!

Book Review: Wings of Fire – The Lost Heir (Book 2)

Hey fellow Geeks! Sorry that I've been quite for a bit. College is a thing... But, I'm trying to get through this series and I wanted to share my review on the second installment of the Wings of Fire series.
